I priced a Duracell version of this battery at my local Big Box store…forty bucks! Need I say more?

Not much to say about this generic battery. It’s a better price to pay than a Canon branded battery. I use this as a spare for longer trips.

This battery is much less expensive than the original Canon battery. I use it every day and hold the Canon battery in reserve. No problems with the battery, and the Amazon service was reliable as always.

so far, seems to be an adequate replacement. time will tell if its battery life is adequate. I bought it as a cheap backup to carry around when the “stock equipment” battery runs down during a long hike with lots of photography. So far, it is serving this purpose well.
