Couldn’t get this to work on my 3 year old Dell. Found out why: SDHC cards are non-compatible with many existing computers and electronic devices. It’s a hardware issue, downloading software updates won’t help. Make sure your computer or device will function with an SDHC card before buying one.

I got this card free with an order of Crucial DDR2 laptop memory. For what it’s worth, it works fine. I find that it is very slow. I transfered 3.5 GB of info to it in order to take it with me to another computer and it took about 1.5 hours! I guess it would work fine as a removable backup or in a digital camera that is not used for rapid shots. Don’t even try to use it in a digital video camera. It would be way too slow. Also, keep in mind that this is a SDHC card not a SD card so it will not work in older cameras or it will not be readable on older computers that only have SD card readers.

If it works, what is there to say that’s bad about it? It is a memory card. Nothing glamorous.

I got this for free with a ram purchase. I use it in an Asus Eee PC 1005HA-PU17-BK’s built in HD card slot. It fits well in the slot (flush when inserted) and works perfectly. I cannot comment on ready boost because I’m booting Linux on my EeePC but I suspect it would work well for readyboost for anyone leaving Windows 7 on the box.

the card i received is exactly what was described in the product specifications. But it is not the same card that is shown in the picture. I needed a class 6 card and i trusted amazon by just looking at the picture and not reading the description. The picture shows a class 6 card, but the description says that it is a class 2 card. I guess amazon is not a perfect seller as i thought.
