Flip Video Carrying Case for Flip Video Ultra Series Camcorder Flip Ultra + Screen Protector Kit (11 Color to Choose From)

Firstly this is NOT a Flip Video Carrying Case for the Flip Video Ultra Series Camcorder! It’s just a cheap ‘made in China’ generic carry case that I could have bought in Chinatown for about $2. The case is far too big to be specially designed to hold the flip video camera. With shipping included we paid about CDN$26 for each case (we bought two). I feel completely ripped off.

I placed an order for 2 EVA cases on 6/7/08. Received the order on 6/19/08. One of the cases was nylon, not EVA (as I had ordered) After contacting customer service, was informed that I was responsible for return shipment even though the issue was their mistake. Sent back item on 6/19/08 and as of 7/5/08 have not received proper replacement item.

In addition to the lack of customer service, the case makes the flip video too big to hold in your purse. The case is at least one inch wider than the video. I just went back to using the cloth bag that came with the flip video.

I don’t like the product and would DEFINITELY never deal with this customer again!!

This case was exactly what I was looking for…provides protection for my Flip Ultra camera and enough storage capacity for extra batteries. Prior to ordering this case I used a tight sleeve which was hard to put on and remove and really didn’t provide much protection. This works for me.

This case was obviously not designed for the Flip. It’s pretty generic. Too big to hold the Flip securely; too small to tuck in any Flip accessories, except a few extra AA batteries. The manufacturer labeling it as a Flip Carrying Case doesn’t make it so… it just makes them money. It will do, but only until I find a better option.

This is an excellent case for me and I will tell you why. It is a hard case which is what I want for protection of the camera when I’m outside or when the grand kids come over. It is hard but has some softness to it. It has excellent securing protection on the inside which consists of a valcro strap that can be adjusted to the camera weather you have a cover or not on the camera. This is great for me, because sometime I take the camera without the slicone case I bought for it. It has double zippers and a clasp that you can hook to your belt of purse. The clasp is secured well enough where I think Ace Ventura couldn’t tear it off, so I’m sure it’s secure from my pugs and grandchildren. Shipping is top notch and on time. This is why I gave it a 5 star rating.
