Got this battery free when we purchased our Canon Vixia camcorder. Works longer than the original battery. It is bigger too and sticks from the back of the camcorder, but it does not bother.

i’ve been bumping up my canon HF10 and its strange but this battery is one of my favorite things in my camera bag because this thing last forever. i was using my camera from 8am till 6pm, on and off. but it lasted all day.

Bought this with charger to have extra on hand when videoing, so I don’t have to charge battery in camcorder or stop and plug in when the first batter gets low.

This battery works in my Canon HF10 as specified. It does stick out the back of the camera about an inch/inch and a quarter, but the battery life it adds is worth it.
